Swimwear true to size. I would say it could be a little bigger, but not a whole size smaller. I had to make some alterations to the bodice to put it on because it was very loose around my chest (so it looks like I have a seam down my back). The rest worked great! This is the first swimsuit I've found that even comes close to the size, covering my chest but not under the wire. Even belts that are about to cross are fine. Any mom looking for a breastfeeding suit is approved by breastfeeding moms! A cesarean shelf is also permitted. For reference, the size I bought was a 22. I weigh 255 pounds, 5'3", bra size 40H (maybe bigger, all I wear now are nursing bras), and my measurements are 50" (bust), 42" (waist) 56" (hips).
