Two cute windows for my cats. Durable for plastic. I used screws to attach them to the window sill. Three stars because the fleece and foam padding smelled so bad the cats left the perch in seconds. They have an awful chemical smell. I washed my fleece covers three times and aired them outside all day. I also washed the foam pads. Both still smell! I plan on making my own lids to replace them. WHY do manufacturers accept all the chemicals on these fabrics as normal? They invest time and effort to make something good and charge a decent amount of money - why not make products out of materials that won't swim in chemical soup? Cats and dogs have a much stronger sense of smell than us, how can we believe they would like to sleep on it? The smell bothered me for several hours. And we wonder why animals and humans get diseases, allergies, etc.? The big chemical and pesticide companies create health problems for all of us. Perhaps we should take a closer look at the "cause" of our diseases and the diseases that affect our pets. I will keep these sleepers for the sturdy and easy to use frame, but I never expected and wouldn't want my cats snuggling up to the foam and fleece. Pooh! Manufacturers please pay attention to healthier substances.
