I bought these to help with plantar fasciitis on both feet. That's the only thing I can walk around the house in, except in athletic shoes with orthopedic insoles. They have significant cushioning, more than any sandal I've worn before. I wish they weren't so wide; I have a long foot, but it's also medium wide or maybe even a bit narrow. I've also noticed that when I walk, my big toes hang forward and my heel isn't far enough back where it should be, but I also think it's because they're too wide. However, these are the only things I can wear for any length of time without excruciating pain, so I give them a thumbs up.
