I needed something like day of the week hands that we could put on the table for morning classes. My four year old wasn't a fan at first, I think mostly because he doesn't like me incorporating new things into their classes. After telling her to give her a name and holding her on my lap, it only took her a few times to really get the concept. Now she doesn't let me touch any of the little dials/creatures, she has to do it herself. Color coded months and days of the week are great! We know what the weekend is and we are just learning which months are spring, summer, autumn, winter. She also really likes the weather clock. I liked that this board had a face that was almost identical to our school clocks - it could match the dials. All in all, it's a great learning tool. She loves it and feels especially safe when everything is ready. We had a small edge that fell off, but I reglued it with no problem.
