Review on VIVO Universal Steel Bracket Sound Bar Speaker Mount for Wall Mounted TV, Fits Screens 23-65 inches, 33 lbs Capacity, Mount-SPSB2 by Runbi Alvarez

I bought this to install a 29" Vizio soundbar on a 40" Vizio TV. It's the smallest soundbar that Vizio makes, and it's a relatively small TV (in the 23-65-inch range that the description lists). Pros: 1. Costs $10.99 with free shipping. It's so cheap I see it as buying parts.2. The mount itself is made of fairly thick metal and has a nice painted (black) feel to it. I think this will continue and I doubt the bracket itself will break. Cons (see first picture): 1. My TV's VESA screw holes are 4mm in diameter (smallest size). Although this product comes with a dizzying array of different screws and washers, only two 4mm (M4) screws are included, so it's not possible to use all 4 VESA holes at the same time and it's wobbly as a result.2. Two washers for two 4mm screws go through slots in the bracket. So I added an extra plastic cable holder as a temporary puck to hold the picture.3. When the short arm is in its longest straight position, the bracket will reach the two VESA holes in the diagonal position. It will rock even if the screws catch the bracket. Solution (second image attached): From Orchard Hardware I purchased 1) 2 more 4mm screws, 2) 4 wing washers (small hole, large washer), and 3) aluminum. Strip 3/4" x 26" long. The total was less than $6, which is fine with me. I couldn't buy anything as durable as the black staples in this product, especially for only $10. Coincidentally, the two holes in the bracket at the top are in the perfect position for installing the two spare screws and the back of the soundbar. Attached is a photo of the final solution that I'm happy with. It's difficult to judge in this situation. But I chose 1* because the product cannot claim to be universal. Most people won't do what I did to fix it; For example, use a drill. The product description is quite boastful with pictures about top or bottom mounting, versatility and also connecting to all VESA sizes, which I think is overkill. However, it is cheap without a doubt.
