I was a bit skeptical about this monitor as it has been criticized by some of the Mac focused podcasts I listen to (like ATP). However, I was pleasantly surprised by the minimalistic (albeit "five head" aka forhead++) case design. While the display isn't protected by glass (so be careful when the plastic screen is exposed), reducing the number of layers helps with brightness and contrast. Plus, the extra USB-C ports on the back are a welcome convenience. Switching from an iMac 5k to this display feels more like a sideways movement than the slight downshift I was expecting. If you use this monitor and care about sound, consider investing in a separate pair of speakers. However, for Mac users looking for an integrated monitor with Thunderbolt support, automatic brightness control, and additional USB-C ports, this monitor remains a solid choice.
