Velcro wears out fairly quickly

I really liked this headband at first. My phone fit perfectly, the touchscreen works very well and overall it was quite comfortable. My only complaint was that the wrist strap is a bit small, but it fit my hand so that was fine. However, the Velcro quickly wore out. I think I had mine for about 9 months and I wore it 3 times a week. It's pretty cheap so I guess 9 months of use isn't too bad but I was hoping to get something more out of it.
