Review on International Concepts 3069 36 Inch Unfinished by Sarah Phillips

I bought two of these tables and they are great value. Other reviews mentioned the need for grinding, and apparently the company took notice; because both of mine felt smooth to the touch (albeit a bit dusty - smooth them before you get them dirty). They also take stains very well, although I recommend trying the stains on the underside of the shelf first to make sure you like it. I recommend you finish these tables for no other reason than to protect them from moisture, stains, etc. I used Minwax English Chestnut #233 which creates a very nice look. I then applied two coats of Minwax Wipe-on polyurethane (steel wool 0000 and tack between coats). It's worth completing. Heirloom quality when finished.
