It's right outside our back door and both cats love the little hammock. It's durable and comfortable to lie on (which they do; one of our two cats is always in it). The floor doesn't have a lot of traffic so when using the scratching post our cat sometimes pulls the stand when he puts it on. full weight into the scratcher (unless another cat is laying in to add weight). I have a big and heavy scratching post nearby so it doesn't really matter as they can still scratch it and they lie in it all the time (which keeps them more away from the furniture).
