I rated these as a four star due to: they are just a little shorter than I prefer, however, that is not a bad thing; they are snug - as expected, especially when putting them on but after a day of wearing them the upper portion (near the top) has "slipped" down just a little, enough to make a tiny winkle across the instep. These are a "dressy" sock, good to wear with jeans, dress slacks or a long dress/skirt and snug fitting shoes. Overall, they are comfortable to wear.
