I was so excited about this product! My room is decorated with wonderland/buddhism/all from around the world/nautical decor and I thought this chest would be perfect on my shelf next to my nautical compass. Just looking at the front, it looks amazing flipped over to whoever nailed it. The nails completely split the tree at the back. I mean it's a total mess in the back and I paid a little over $20 for this chest it's not even if it's worth $10 I decided to keep my essential oils in it as I said front looks it doesn't look that bad. I actually ordered a completely separate chest that had two other chests that fit in like those old Timi dolls that fit in each other, now these diamonds were downright nice and probably about $6 or $7 cheaper and I got two more chests and they were so much better made that the finish on the other breast was perfect. I really hope that the company that makes these pirate boxes for the world map takes their business a little more seriously or at least cracks down on their employees and checks the quality of each product before sending it to the buyer who paid the money for it Product. . and I am sure that just like me, you expected a much better product.
