The first impression was a pungent odor emanating from the wallet. It was like the smell of a new car on steroids. It's almost gone now, but when I first opened the box it was incredibly strong. Map pockets are very narrow. I suppose it's good in the long run, but it makes it a little harder to get cards in and out. I love that there is a divider for cash and receipts or whatever you want to put in there.
