The pin looks good and adds character and style. Back side in both colors and safety pin style. The chains are quite flimsy and will likely break if even slightly snagged on something, but adds a nice touch. Not sure if I like the black chain paired with bright gold colors or not. They're packaged in a cute box, which makes them more gift-worthy, but the boxes (I've ordered a few needles from this company) aren't always well constructed. When they are, it looks a little classier, and when they aren't, it looks cheap. In the box, the needle is packed in a small plastic bag with a zipper. It seems cheap to me when the jewelry comes in a plastic bag. While the packaging doesn't prevent the pin from slipping around in the box, which unfortunately causes such pins with chains to become tangled, it wasn't difficult to untangle.
