My daughter has three dogs that bark at every sound. We have tried everything. I ordered one for each dog. Let me describe what happened to the worst barker: I put the collar on her first. She started barking like she always does. The collar squeaked, squeaked, squeaked again. She was still barking. Then the collar vibrated. She stopped immediately. Then after a few minutes she started barking and the same thing happened. The third time she barked, she squeaked and stopped immediately. THE? We put collars on the next two, it was yesterday, and they took them off here and there. I assume collars won't be needed any time soon. we are all so happy I even think dogs are happier. UPDATE: That was 3 weeks ago now. The two dogs, which weren't too bad, barely barked. They used to bark for no reason. A bad barker knows when his collar is off and sometimes uses it, but then her collar remains with such hope that it will train her. I'm changing the star count from 5 to 10. If only it were like that. Update 08/17/18: My daughters had chewed through 2 dog collars. The component was not damaged BUT it was not possible to fit the collar through those small slots on the component. We literally couldn't. I even went and bought the thinnest collar I could find. It's not going to happen. sooo Like the collar, but you may want to make big holes for the collar. I don't want to spend $60 to buy two new collars to make their dogs start barking again.🤨
