I have used this on my EOS RP cage and my A6600 cage. This is great for any camera, but I find it really useful for light cameras with a heavy lens and front end. While constantly squeezing the camera with your right hand, you must keep your wrist in a twisted position to keep the camera vertical and horizontal. These handles (I also have a wooden handle) offset about 50% of the weight. Not only is this easier on your wrist, but I noticed a significant improvement in my ability to stabilize the camera. This is because I'm not trying to balance a 6-10 pound camera with one hand. These recordings save lives for photo or video. I can see that it's better for videos, but I think it's just as good for photos. I cannot recommend this product enough. This one has a more rubberized texture while the wood is smoother, but it's a bit more ergonomic than this one. Both are amazing.
