I installed two different devices because the first was defective and the second caused the same problem. I installed them both according to the video. The Apple CarPlay menu is as clear as can be and works well as far as I can tell based on the 5 minutes I used. My car has a Bang & Olufsen speaker system. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with why I'm struggling and everyone else is working, but it's the only thing I can think of. If anyone else had this problem and figured out what's wrong, let me know!
