I installed this in my home stereo to give my PrimaLuna tube amp an RCA output for my Hi-Fi Man Planar headphones (also need https:// www.amazon .com/dp/B00QUWDUJ0/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1 adapter). I was skeptical that this would work, but considering the low cost and Amazon's return policy, I didn't have to worry. The specification showed 20 - 20,000 Hz, which would offer a full spectrum of sounds. I was completely overwhelmed by the sound coming out of my amp as I was concerned about feedback. This adapter has served its purpose and hasn't changed the sound. Recommended for all uses from car to home.
