I bought this item because I needed a Blackmagic Atem minii, but of course it was out of stock. I teach live online classes from home and have had to switch between two cameras and my computer. I realized that this probably wasn't the primary purpose of this device, but I was at a stalemate so I decided to give it a try. It's been about 4 months now and I have to say I'm still surprised and satisfied. I get the toggle functionality I need, although I have to admit viewers see about 2-3 seconds of black screen when I toggle. My students are already used to it, so it doesn't matter. I use OBS and rarely but occasionally get a green screen that just needs a small reset. All in all, it's not a Atem Mini, but it serves my purpose for now. I'll find a similar HDMI switch for backup and see if it has black screen lag. Finally, a big advantage is the remote control for switching. I'm a one man team so I have to switch from my own podium. Without a remote control, it would be very cumbersome and cumbersome.
