Oh where do I start?! This pillow is amazing. I bought it from the warehouse for $52 and honestly found it absurd to spend that much on a pillow. However, this pillow usually costs up to a hundred dollars or more. I decided to give it a try as my miracle bamboo pillow didn't work any miracles other than causing my neck pain. When my Malouf pillow arrived I thought the average loft was too thin and I considered sending it back without even giving it away as a gift. to attempt. I'm so glad I did. The loft is perfect for my spine alignment and the shoulder cutout was such a unique concept to me. I sleep on my side most of the time and the neckline gave me exactly what I was looking for. No numb arms or hands in the middle of the night. And the gel batter .ha-ha made me laugh but I totally understand why it was called that. It's like a gel pad in a league of its own. And for those wondering, yes you can put a regular pillowcase on top. The notch flexes at this point, so you can use whatever cover you want and still have the notch. Perhaps the only downside was the chamomile spray. An added bonus that smelled weird and didn't do my pillow any benefit that I could see. That and the bottle was very small. Almost like a perfume sample in the mall. However, this pillow is amazing and totally worth the price I paid. I plan on taking another to keep for the trip. Simply the best
