Review on 🎵 Acoustic Audio PSC-43: Immersive 3-Way Home Theater Center Channel Speaker with 150 Watts by Kimberley Cook

Full disclosure. I'm not an "audiophile" and my main requirements for my surround sound system are that I can watch TV and movies without too much effort and where I can actually hear what's going on in dialogue and effects. I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to the cigarette pack sized center channel speaker that came with my system. I wanted something that would match my Boston Acoustics Chanel left and right speakers and give me audible dialogue and sound effects when watching TV and movies. i have all these things Now I can hear dialogue without cranking the volume up to levels that hurt my ears. The speaker box is visually exactly what I was looking for in all its black simplicity. It suits my system and plays great. The only thing I don't like is the speaker wire connector. It's terrible! I understand that cheaper audio components don't get high end "gold plated" connection hardware, but the wired connection on this particular speaker is the WORST I've seen in over 40 years of connecting audio hardware. . Maybe in time I'll change it myself since it hardly sticks to the wires. It took me 5 or more tries to keep the wires in their holes under the action of the button spring on the connector. If it were better I would give the speaker another star because it's a really good price!
