The only problem with these caps, even in the original packaging, they have a LIMITED shelf life! There were two, but they were removed from the manufacturer's packaging when needed and crumbled into a useless heap of broken and brittle plastic pieces. The new ones (of this order) arrived in perfect condition and installed with no problems. They are flexible and nestle snugly against the lamp body. They are typically used in "weather conditions" for around 2-3 years before suffering from sun exposure, drying out and falling apart. I still feel like they do the job they need and I would order from the seller again. Better use old socks to cover the light!
