I always used a helper to hold the reflector as a highlight. Some aim and hold better than others. There's nothing wrong with being on the stand. What you hire is what you get. For the price, this is ridiculous value. I wish someone could make one that folds up better for storage. I keep mine fully assembled and never use a travel case. There are too many small parts (like wing nuts and screws) to collect in the workplace that can easily get lost. I can install a few racks, lights, and softboxes faster than assembling everything from scratch. Still a fantastic purchase.
