I needed a waterproof watch to replace my old Timex Indiglo that I had for so many years and swam with all the time, even after changing the battery myself many times. It eventually broke so I ordered two new Timex watches, one with an elastic strap and the other. Haven't tested their swim yet as beach season is over, but they definitely hold up in the shower! I'm sure they'll both be fine in the sea when summer comes again. This strap looks a lot slimmer than the elastic strap and is easy to adjust to fit your wrist, especially if you have a narrow one like mine. I'll probably save the rubber band watch for the beach. I've been a Timex fan for decades and you can't beat the price!
