Review on 🍀 Clover Hot Hemmer Sewing Tool 7806 by Summer Hendricks

I LOVE this hemmer. This makes ironing the edges much easier than using a regular hem template: simply fold the fabric over one of the edges to the desired mark and iron. And it doesn't get hot, so you can handle it without waiting. I would give it 5 stars except for one thing: This hem is thin and doesn't crease sharply. Some fabrics need to be ironed with the hem inwards and then the hem is immediately removed and re-ironed to give a more defined crease. The material of this seam is quite rough and tends to catch on the fabric. If you pull it out of the seam, the fabric will pull with it, requiring you to smooth it out again on the ironing board. UPDATE: Purchased April 2018, now September 2018. I use this thing a lot and it still looks brand new. I still wish the edge was thinner for a more defined crease. Update 2: I found they make it longer! Clover 7811 Perfect Hot Line Press. Using the hot hemmer as a template you can cut off the corner of the hot hemmer and you will end up with a very long hot hemmer and they both do the same thing.
