My daughter loves this dress. It's nice and slick and a lot of good stuff. However, he is not white. Since I specifically needed a white dress, that's a bit of a problem. In addition, the "white" dress is VERY TRANSPARENT. You will definitely need another layer underneath. For example, I could see not only my daughter's light blue underwear, but also her nipples. Also, the description says it's designed for growing girls and you need to buy it by growing more than the size on the label. It's an illusion. My daughter is not splints, but certainly not what I would call chubby. At eight she wears a size 10. However, I followed her advice and bought 8-9 years. The length is perfect but I can barely tighten it. It fits her chest quite snugly, right where the drawstring is. This tells me that the dimensions are important and it is not intended to be grown as described. So, the dress is beautiful and well made, but not as described. Pay more attention to the sizes on the pictures. Ignore their written description. Maybe just don't buy it if your kid is bigger than average, as it takes a lot of extra length to get that extra girth, and it takes fancy sewing to adjust the length of all those pretty layers. Also, don't buy if you want an all-white dress. But if the cream color suits you and you have a medium or slim girl, this is a gorgeous dress and a bargain.
