I wear trousers with a waist size of 34 and initially ordered a belt size of 35, which turned out to be too small. This size was about 1 inch longer, but the package includes instructions and a handy leather punch to reduce the length of the belt. There is a screw on the buckle that can be unscrewed to cut off the excess length. The leather quality is thick and I expect this belt to last for many years. This belt is way better than any you will find at your local retail store.
