Review on White Corner Wall Shelf: πŸ“š SHELVING SOLUTION for Optimal Space Utilization by Tim Arnold

poor build quality - modern design BUT needs improvement and quality control

I bought these shelves to display my collection of Gundams and figures in my playroom. I ended up returning them as the build quality was poor and there were design flaws, although overall the shelf looks cool and has a clean, modern look. PROS: 1. Looks cool and has a clean, modern look2. Takes up less space in the room and doesn't clog walls MY BIGGEST COMPLAINTS AND CONS (why I ended up sending it back too): 1. Build quality control is very poor - there was a wooden arched long slotted mark on the top of the shelf ( although it was painted). It looked annoying when I tried to tumble LED lights onto the shelf from above. It also caused some figures to wobble their feet due to this bulge and look ugly when the light reflected off the surface of the shelf at night - see first pic2. The corners of this shelf are not exactly 90 degrees, especially the lower wooden bases are far from the edges that sit flush with the corners of the wall. Tried in every corner of the room and there were gaps everywhere. When I measured this with my protractor, the shelves themselves were at 90 degrees on the sides that were flush with the walls, but the small base brackets were NOT. This made it difficult to install on the wall, and over time the shelves would not remain stable. See my second photo. Overall at least the item I received has design flaws and I ended up sending it back.

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
