Does the job

- Wooden stand is MDF and anyone who has ever bought furniture should be familiar with this material. It is not intended for long-term use and does not hold moisture well. The "tree" is covered with glued veneer, similar to plastic. I don't think this product is a long term solution but as I'm sure our girls will outgrow it within two years of use this may not be an issue. It's strong enough, but if your kids tend to climb on these things, the strength can drop pretty quickly. The dowel rods screw into each end, so screwing them in tight enough might help a bit. The dowel rods are aluminum in my opinion, so don't expect them to be very strong. If you have small climbers, they will most likely deform them. Storage boxes The boxes are thin plastic, not very good quality. The instructions warn you against washing them in the dishwasher, and with good reason - they'll likely warp from the heat. If you put this organizer in direct sunlight all day, I'm sure sunlight can warp them too. We had chips in some corners so be careful when ordering it. Overall, it serves its purpose, which is to act as a central collection point for our children's toys and to help them get organized. Ours arrived with some damage to the containers as well as one of the 'wooden' side walls. As long as you're not looking for a long-term solution to organizing your little one's toys and they're not climbing on top of them, you should be fine. Conclusion This is what it is, you get what you pay for.
