I bought this for my Sony SLT-A33 so I can mount a Sony flash on the camera arm. This works great and transfers all information as if the flash were connected directly to the camera. The cord on it is thicker and appears to be of solid construction. I like that the end of the cable that the flash connects to has a standard mount so it mounts to a standard shoe or 1/4" thread.
