Thick board, beautifully made and worked with heavy knives. Cheese cutting area approximately 9" x 9". Easily holds 24+ croutons in one wave without disturbing the knives. The handles rest on wood (good to grip). Bought for grandchildren to experience the joy of grazing. Any marks they put on it will be a memory as we pull them out each time. You may have to buy a second one to add to the adult cheese board as it's great! Love it!
