They seemed promising right away until I realized they require 3 AA batteries for each bulb. Despite the excessive use of batteries, I installed them in the outerwear closet. I hope the motion sensor lets in some light when you put your shoes on in the morning. But I was wrong. The next day the light was off and wouldn't turn on as it completely drained 3 AA batteries in one day. I have no idea, they just suck energy non-stop or the motion sensor just won't turn off in a dark closet (I checked the motion sensor in the living room and it worked fine). Either way, avoid it. It's a waste of money and batteries, and the included adhesive tapes can't even support the meager weight of the flashlights.
