Why I give this item 5 stars: I heard a noise behind me and turned around - nothing there - I heard another noise, turned around again, nothing. Evil. As I continued to watch my film, I noticed that I was hearing background noise in the film! It was so damn real - it was 3D sound. If it was swinging to your right, behind you, or the other way, you've heard the sound spreading around you - that's how good these $13 wholesale headphones are (I just ordered another one). . They're not tight, don't squeeze the brain between the ears and cause a headache, but when you tilt your head the phones move - I don't light up tight headphones anyway, so the slight tension in these headphones works for me. The sound quality is clear, sharp and balanced; it delivers what your system produces. There's no buzz, no sound of crusty bread being squeezed. Good standard quality product. I recommend buying some headphone socks to protect your earbuds from wear and tear. JVC's model/product is lightweight; I don't know how durable it is; I don't think they can handle abuse; I don't abuse my stuff so I hope the headphones last a long time.
