I have naturally curly hair that is waist-length and am always on the lookout for combs and other hair fixing devices that set well and quickly and will not tear or break my hair. The teeth are strong and do not threaten to break if used correctly. . .means don't force it, move it, wiggle it a little if necessary. You want the ends of the teeth to be pressed against the skull, this will hold the hair in place. The quality of the combs is very good.
