I watched the video and when I received and tried the same concept this is not the case when using a single blade razor. What hasn't been said is that you need to moisturize the skin first and you'll need a little over a dime. If you shave your beard slowly, if you apply it all over the beard the product will dry before it gets to this side, meaning you will have to reapply the product or just apply it to the side you shave first and then apply to the next part of the beard. Aside from the smell, which smells like I'm in the barber chair, the product does what it needs to do to help shave and see the beard line as you shave.
