This device is strong enough that I can feel its effects for a long time. The cuff, which covers your most sensitive areas (in my case my protruding shoulder blades) with a wafer-thin protective layer, is too small. It presses on the device and the rollers move it or even pull it away from the too-thin velcro. The heating switches on automatically. So if you don't need heat, make sure you turn it off. Overall, this product has had a positive impact on my upper and lower back and neck (although it can be too hard depending on my pain) and shoulder blades, but not so much on my upper shoulders where I have a lot of pain and narrow areas. However, when I first used it, it really proved to be effective and helped me feel less sore and sleep well at night. It's very good for the price, but at the same time I wish it could do more than just shiatsu. A vibration function would be nice and easy to use.
