Beautiful pattern, high quality bed material. The build quality seemed good at first. However, the strap would not attach on the first use. I attached the bed to four cup hooks under the chair. My cat climbed in and it fell apart, three of the four corner straps completely ripping off the bed frame. My cat fell straight to the ground but luckily I didn't install it on the planned scratching post and the fall wasn't far and my cat wasn't hurt. On closer inspection, the straps are not tight at the corners, they are actually held in place by four double-threaded single stitches. Nothing was blocking the other end of the webbing from fraying, once it hit any weight the webbing just unraveled and slipped 4 stitches. It can't carry a lot of weight without failing. If you purchase this product, I recommend you reinforce the stitching on the corners and prevent the edges of the straps from fraying on the inside of the product. To do this, you need to embroider a small part of the upper seam on the edge of the bed, and then sew the initial stitches, turning the product inside out and preventing the nylon fabric from unraveling, burning the ends or using glue to prevent wear, and then reinforce the seams around the edges of the strap with a sewing machine before finally turning it right side out and sewing the resulting hole shut. If sewing the product correctly is too much to ask of you as a consumer, share my opinion. My cat could be seriously injured, he's older and slower. He's also scared of my chair now, so that's not great. The item has been returned.
