Review on πŸ•’ Timex Full-Size Ironman Road Trainer HR Monitor by Trevor French

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Previous Timex monitors weren't as sensitive as I would like and didn't last long.

Send chest strap to factory for battery replacement. I've had Polar, Omron and Timex monitors and they were all different. Polar doesn't allow the owner to change the battery - you have to send it to him. I found that to be a major disadvantage. Previous Timex monitors weren't as sensitive as I would like and didn't last long. This clock/monitor appears to be of high quality and very sensitive. I don't need all the features of this watch - I just want to know my heart rate and so far it's doing fine. When I received them I couldn't get the device to work. I was just going to send it back but decided to call TImex support instead. It turns out that there is a small sensor in the chest strap that can be reset by pressing a small metal tab. Your hotline was pretty good. I did a reset and the monitor has been fine ever since. I recommend this to people looking for a reliable, inexpensive, yet very accurate heart rate monitor.
