During assembly my cat jumped in the pipe and I couldn't get him out so he stayed there until I finished assembling! It's not the highest quality scratching post I've ever bought for my cats, but for the price I don't think it's a bad deal. When everything is assembled it seems sturdy enough that my fat cat couldn't knock it over! Even my smaller cat doesn't spend much time in the pipe because it's a bit cramped in there. The scratching post itself seems to be holding up pretty well so far and with all the scratching they've been doing that says a lot. If I had the opportunity I would order this again but if anything changes in the future I will come back and edit this post.
