This is a great ladder that folds down to about 2 inches wide making it ideal for tucking behind the door or next to the fridge if you have a few inches of space. . It is easy to open, very durable and comfortable to stand on the steps. However, it's not very wide, and it's not exactly comfortable to stand with both feet on the same step for a long time because you can't really move your feet to change position. Although sometimes I put a foot on a joint - just to change my position. It works out. I'm missing a rung on my old three rung ladder - it had one rung at the top but was much heavier and took up much more space. It was also more difficult to carry around without hitting anything. This one is lightweight and great for small jobs like changing a lightbulb or accessing something on the top shelf of a closet. Recommended. A very good quality.
