These bobby pins are amazing. I've been looking for strong clamps for years without success. My hair is long, thick and curly and I had a problem with clips breaking. You can actually hold my hair. They have points inside that go into your hair to help stay in place. Texture helps too. It is not smooth, so the hair does not slip out. I highly recommend
