HP z420 workstation users looking to upgrade their power supply for a powerful graphics card.

My HP z420 workstation has a 600w power supply that is used only for this machine model. Standard 20 or 24 pins in standard ATX motherboards. The pins are also electrically different, so I went with this adapter instead. It works like a champ, just plug it straight into the single rail (6 pin ONLY) of my power supply and I can use my nVideo GTX 680. Classified graphics card with the (2) 8-pin connectors my card requires from a 6-pin bus. I HAD NO PROBLEMS!
