I am in my 40's, mother of a teenager and have many imperfections below the waist so I never feel good in "traditional" swimwear. It always sneaks in where it doesn't belong, or never covers enough. They're a bit long, but just perfect! Covers everything, holds things that like to move by themselves (laughs) and is good to put on a beach dress and go to the supermarket across the street because otherwise they look like regular leggings. Pretty comfortable, doesn't pinch, the stitching is strong. I look forward to spending a day surfing it!
