This kz iem is just fantastic! I should have bought the zs5 and this successor to the zs5 a long time ago without buying a dozen other kz iems and headphones first! The bass is well extended and has good texture, like the ed9 or maybe better, but it seems to me that it lacks mid-bass, but it's still punchy with a punchy sub-bass. The mids move forward well enough that you can even hear lower-pitched vocals, but not so loud or pronounced that they don't appear flat across the frequency range, which is mostly V-shaped, but for those sensitive to the Responding to treble and sibilance, these tracks have a tremendous burst of treble, but the treble reveals many details I haven't heard in a long time. The soundstage is large enough to hear everything else to play (for those gamers). But the problem with this IEM is the treble jump that overwhelms everything, like I'm listening to music that has detail in the mids and bass, the treble overshadows everything else in the frequency range. Also the build quality of IEM itself is great its cold hard metal but the wires are still pretty much the same standard kz tape wires and the loop for your ears doesn't always fit my ears and easily snaps in place remove me to reconfigure them. but overall this product made my days!
