Review on πŸ‘œ High-quality Polare Full Grain Leather Laptop Briefcase Messenger Bag - Vintage Travel Case for Stylish Men by Jeremy Bradford

Big improvement over the previous Polare bag

I've only had this bag for a week so can't comment on its durability yet but I've already noticed some improvements over previous attempts . . I have had leather messenger bags for many years and am very particular about them. The leather quality of my two Polare bags was very good. The bag I bought 2 years ago still shows little to no wear on the leather and I believe this bag will wear the same. My last Polare bag had issues with some fasteners, rivets and stitching. This new pouch solved that problem with a much better design that takes pressure off parts that failed in the previous pouch. They also changed the way the front flap closed, from a strap that frayed and stretched to a double clasp that was easy to open and close. Under the flap is a zipper for the main body. While this seems like a well-intentioned feature, I probably won't be using it, and I'm very happy that the design allows the exposed zipper to be hidden and doesn't limit what I can put in my bag. They replaced the inner pocket design with more supple fabric. It's easier to use and I'm curious if it will have the same durability - although it might be since it's in a bag. I also like how the front exterior pocket has been redesigned. I currently use it for all the dongles/adapters I need and it's very convenient. A zipper has been added to the back pocket and my biggest complaint about adding a zipper is that it narrows the width of the back pocket so it's not wide enough for the things I want to put in there. Overall, the bag doesn't hold as much as my old one. For most people this will not be a problem. It has space for a 15-inch laptop, a tablet, headphones, pens and pencils, and some folders with documents. "Paper width (and probably weight).

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
