Review on 🧳 Travel-Friendly White Mini Steam Iron SI-755 by Sharper Image with Dual Voltage by Trey Samuels

Cute little workhorse, gentle on arthritic hands!

I spend 2 to 5 hours a day making masks. When the arthritis attacked my hands, it became quite painful for me to work for more than an hour with my trusty old tailor's iron that I had used for many years, but when I bought this little travel iron, I was able to sew again for so many hours on the day I wanted/needed. I haven't weighed it, but it's no heavier than my phone, and the handle is configured so I don't even have to hold it like a kettle (like I do to hold a big one), but I can hook it . with 2 fingers if I want. The shape of the plate is exactly the same as that of the masks, and because it's small, it fits into gaps where a large iron won't fit. The second photo shows the size difference between the two irons. I love this little iron! It doesn't bother me that I often have to refill, since the water container doesn't hold much, there is enough steam when I want it. And the heat range is as good as a full-size iron. The only caveat is something I read about in the reviews before buying it, which is the short lifespan. I know this is a travel iron that cannot be used 2 to 5 hours a day 7 days a week and I was willing to replace it after about a year but no it only has 3 months and 12 days held after delivery. - 2 months and 13 days after the end of the return period. He didn't respond at all this morning. After making a mask today using a large 20lb iron, I bit the bullet and ordered another cute little workhorse. At this price I just consider this a subscription that allows me to keep up with the pace at which my masks are being made.
