These were way better than I expected them to be. From the outside they look like you are wearing khakis. I might even wear them to work in the summer sometimes. I got them for a beach vacation that I knew would be a little chilly and ended up wearing them on the beach and in town and got compliments on them more than once. They are not see-through at all and have a back pocket and two front pockets. They are basically what you would expect from pants except light and airy and with a drawstring. As a bonus they fold down to practically nothing so they are great to throw in a suitcase.
