Nice smell and lather but washes away skin
This cleanser has a pleasant mild scent and is creamy to the touch. Lathers up into a thick foam. Weirdly, I find it astringent - my face feels dry and tight after washing. Also, the intense foam somehow causes it to frequently rise up the nose, which stings. Hada Labo Tokyo Gentle Hydrating Cleanser is a less harsh alternative with the same foamy, creamy feel.
