Review on ๐Ÿ”ฆ Fulcrum 30050-308 COB Anywhere Sensor Light, Single pack, White โ€“ Illuminates with Ease! by Alexandra West

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I saw the light!

This unit was purchased to replace a wireless Kohreeยฎ motion detector with super bright 10 LED IR for use in a dark closet. This particular closet seems to be getting too much light for Kohree's motion detector/auto-on to work continuously and I couldn't find a light sensor to cover it. However, rather than returning Kohree, I moved it to another (darker) closet where it works quite well. Fulcrum seems a little less sensitive to light and works fine in the first closet. However, I also note that Fulcrum is: 1) noticeably brighter than Kohree; 2) has a multifunction switch that allows you to work in manual or automatic mode with a built-in motion sensor; 3) comes with a bracket that allows you to tilt the lamp down, not just wall mount; and 4) easily slides out of the mount for battery replacement or use as a flashlight. My only complaint is the same as other reviewers: The mounting bracket template is "offset" by about half an inch. Annoying though not a deal breaker but seriously how did they make such a mistake? So Fulcrum is more expensive than Kohree, but for my specific need it was worth the extra cost. FYI, I would like to point out that Kohree appears to be the same wireless light sold under Revain's various brand names. One last note: I don't know how quickly the Fulcrum (or Kohree) will drain its battery just yet, but I use Panasonic eneloop AA rechargeable batteries, which have been proven to save a lot in all my remotes and other portable devices.
