Review on Olkheniif Trailer Receiver 8 Inch Diameter，2 Pack，KEYED by Melvin Balamani

This is a decent locking pin. It fits perfectly in my Toyota 4Runner with 2" receiver pictured with US clutch cover. The pin is about 1/8" shorter for a 2.5" receiver as in the GMC twin pickup receiver 2017 shown in photos without clutch cover Overall the design looks good but there are a few things I don't like The locking end isn't as tight as I think it should be When closed it doesn't compress the rubber grommet and sort of just fits on top of the ring. I think moisture will get into the locking mechanism. I could put a thicker o-ring on and probably will, but I didn't have to. Also, the protective rubber cap that covers the keyhole doesn't hold. It was fine when the pin was dry, but when washing the 4Runner it kept popping out and wouldn't stay when wet.This lid just doesn't have enough protrusion (only about 1/8") to accommodate the pin clasp itself to hold him. The locking mechanism is a rotating plate that rotates as the key turns to engage the end of the pin. You can see it in the photos. There are 4 buttons, all the same for both contacts, but I only see two in the picture. The locking mechanism looks nice and is a simple mechanism. Given the previous paragraph, I put a few drops of 3-in-1 oil in the mechanism to keep moisture out as I'm pretty sure it will get there. Due to the winters we get here and the road salt I'm concerned the lock will corrode and I won't be able to remove it so I'll keep an eye on it and update this review no matter what.
