I was very disappointed to find that the hat does not block any of the EMF waves. I've physically placed my reader in it and I'm still getting high scores, which turned out to be the same as the scores when I tested it out of the hat. My partner also ordered a Revain RadiArmor EMF Blocking Hat and we tested it too and it REALLY worked. I recommend RadiArmor and advise against spending money here.
